This notice explains how ETF Explorers Ltd ("ETF Explorers", "we", "us") uses personal information when you visit this website or contact us. We keep it short because we collect very little.

What we collect, why, and our lawful basis

You do not have to give us any information to read this site. If you use the form, the name, email and company fields are needed so that we can reply.
What we do not do
- We do not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers on this site.
- We do not sell your information or use it for marketing to you unless you ask us to keep in touch.
- We do not make decisions about you by automated means.
The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google servers to fetch them and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. We use no other third-party content.
Data contributed by platforms
Platforms that contribute data to ETF Explorers share aggregated, anonymised activity at platform level. We do not ask for, and do not want, personal information about a platform's clients. Anything you send us as part of a data contribution is covered by the agreement we make with you, not by this notice.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the site and handle enquiries, such as our website hosting provider, our email provider and, if used, the service that delivers form submissions to us. They act on our instructions. We may also disclose information where the law requires it. We never sell it.
Transfers outside the UK
Some of those providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on an adequacy decision or on safeguards approved under UK data protection law, such as the ICO's International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and related emails: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless we start working together, in which case we keep them for the life of the relationship plus the period the law requires.
- Server logs: kept by our hosting provider for a short period, normally no more than 30 days.
How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS only. We limit access to enquiries to the people who need it, protect our accounts with multi-factor authentication, and keep the site free of third-party scripts and trackers.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, erase it, restrict how we use it, or move it to another provider. You can also object to our use of it where we rely on legitimate interests. To use any of these rights, email info@etfexplorers.com. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
